Good-day tea

好日茶 HaoriCha

好日茶 HaoriCha

Growing up in Tokyo, I had been influenced by the two cultures and lifestyles: Japanese and Taiwanese.

The Chinese medicinal teas boiled by my grandparents. I still miss their peculiar scents.
When I was a child, I suffered from asthma and atopy.

The family doctor at that time was a Taiwanese female doctor born in Kobe (an international city in Japan since the ancient time), she prescribed common Western medication along with Eastern herb medicine. She also gifted me an excellent wisdom-“Healthy food is best medicine".

Of course, I had a great deal of care from my family. But because of the brilliant coaching of the doctor, I proactively confront my conditions with confidence.
I was not dependent on adults even though I was sick and very young.

Over time, I have encountered wonderful Taiwanese teas and become a big fan of the Taiwanese art of tea.

Furthermore, I came to realize that in Taiwan “Drinking tea” custom means not only enjoying the aroma and taste of tea leaves, but also it is due to the common trust for the health promoting effect given by plants. Once again, I recall the old saying, “Healthy food is best medicine” has deeply rooted there. Suddenly my childhood memory wrapped with the aroma flashbacked to me.

In Oriental medicine, there is a viewpoint of "pre-illness".

If we could care our body and mind with curing tea every day.
From such a thought, " 好日茶:Good-Day Tea " came into being.

Blending Jujube, Longan (a Taiwanese fruit) and Chrysanthemum, etc... depending on the season and your conditions, the ingredients of the tea would be varied.
With the wishes of May you have a good day every day,
we prepare a “Good day tea” for you.
Please relax and enjoy the ”Good day tea(HaoriCha)” seeping into your mind and body.
